History
The Watertown Area United Way was formed in 1971. Prior to that time it was called the Community
Chest. United Way helps introduce new creative programs to the community through financial support.Â
The Watertown Area United Way is focused on mobilizing the caring power of communities and
making a difference in people's lives.
